Meet Ke'Aira
The truth is, I didn’t choose poverty—it chose me. I was introduced to lack and experienced firsthand the many ways poverty impacts a person. My self-worth was at its lowest, and I had no idea who I truly was. For so long, I believed the lies spoken over me.
But deep inside, a part of me knew there had to be more to life than this.

This photo is a testament to where I was—and a powerful reminder of what God has brought me out of.
My Story
Ke'Aira Jahneh is a woman of faith—God’s daughter and kingdom ambassador first—and the CEO and founder of Plateau to Prosperity and the Plateau to Prosperity Incubator. She is a speaker, author, rising real estate agent, and entrepreneur who knows firsthand the struggles of being a single parent and how easy it is to fall into a cycle of generational poverty.
As a teen mom and single parent of two children by the age of 19, Ke’Aira was raised by a single mother in a fatherless home, making her statistically vulnerable to poverty. She didn’t have a degree, wasn’t left a fortune, and experienced firsthand the challenges of toxic relationships, substance abuse, childhood trauma, molestation, homelessness, and living with instability.
However, Ke’Aira’s journey of overcoming these hardships didn’t just happen by chance. Through her faith and relationship with God, she discovered that her struggles weren’t merely a result of personal ignorance—they were part of generational patterns that had been passed down. Growing up on welfare, living paycheck to paycheck, poor health, and absent fathers became the norm.
But through knowledge and understanding of God's Word, Ke’Aira found relief. Gaining the truth about poverty and its implications helped her break free from the mindset that had held her back for so long. Rediscovering her Christ identity and understanding who God called her to be, Ke’Aira found a greater purpose in life—one that went beyond a good career, marriage, and comfort.
She realized that her calling was to do more than just create a stable life for herself. She was called to help other women and young girls—like herself—break free from the cycle of poverty and limitation.
Her mission is to empower single women of color, particularly mothers, who face the highest statistics of poverty. Ke’Aira is passionate about inspiring others with her story, more importantly, she wants to help them break free from the barriers of statistics.
